Shelter Dog Hugs Pal Prior To Euthanasia And Saves Both Their Lives

Hugs can save lives. Well, at least they did in the case of Kala and Keira, two shelter dogs who were literally hours away from tragically being put down due to a lack of space at their shelter. Shelter staff at 'Angels Among Us' in Georgia posted this adorable picture of the doomed pooches beseechingly cuddling on Facebook. Miraculously, two hours and six minutes after the photo was posted, a kind soul phoned in to say they would take both dogs, saving them from what had seemed to be a certain death. Amazing!
