One day, Ty Foster received a picture message from his stepfather. It showed his two dogs, both just back from the vet, and both wearing the 'cone of shame'. They looked utterly miserable, reckons Ty. He tells BoredPanda that anyone who has ever owned a dog has likely used an Elizabethan collar, i.e the 'cone of shame'. "It's a necessary and beneficial part of the healing process but for them, it's like being put on time out."
