It's easy to imagine the animals of Disney films to really be people because most of them can talk. An artist known as 'Pugletto', from Wisconsin, has taken this idea and developed it, drawing characters like Simba, Nala and the nasty hyenas from The Lion King (as well as other Disney animal characters) as humans. In her depictions, she takes into consideration the geographical locations of the films and thus her imaginings feature people of ethnic backgrounds that correspond to this.
