So recently there has been a trend for carving all sorts of stuff, from pencil tips to fruit and more. In order to celebrate the strength of women, Hong Kong-based May Sum carves celebrities from designer lipsticks! The artist got the idea from wanting to use a medium which society sees as being feminine and her results are pretty impressive considering they're made from make-up!
May Sum takes commissions from around $600. For that money you can choose any subject, lipstick brand and color however most people will find the cost prohibitively expensive. Who says you can't put a price on beauty?!
