A Brazilian scientist got more than he bargained for when he was collecting frogs, in southeastern Brazil. Researcher, Carlos Jared was gathering specimens of various frog species when one little guy, apparently rather agitated, head butted his hand. Jared felt immediate and intense pain radiate up his arm. The pain lasted around five hours. Turns out the frog, known as the Bruno's casque-headed frog, has spikes on its head. The spikes inject venom 25 times as powerful as a pit viper, one of Brazil's deadliest snakes! Luckily for Jared, the frog's only capable of injecting small amounts of the poison. Hence why the researcher is still alive! Take a look!
