Anyone who knows anything about ancient Greek mythology will know that it is simply jam-packed full of all sorts of weird and frightening-looking creatures. Often these creatures are hybrids… part bird, part beast, part human, for example. In her amazing series of detailed and rather confronting sculptures, 'Zoomorphism' artist Ewelina Lesik looks to Greek mythology for inspiration. She loves to create works of mixed anatomical structures and generally, her works are made with metal, wood, plastic, clay and feathers. The results are out of this world. Take a look!
