Cats are fascinated with fish tanks and these can be a huge source of entertainment for them. To our feline friends, looking at an aquarium is almost like watching TV for humans. The owners of Jasper the Cat, the rising Instagram and TikTok star, ordered a custom-made fish tank from Aquatics & Exotics, a company that manufactures and installs bespoke aquariums. This is to give their favorite kitty a better viewing experience of what it’s like inside the fish tank.
Just like most cats, Jasper also loves watching the colorful fishes swim through the aquarium. To give him an immersive experience of underwater viewing, his family commissioned a special fish tank that lets him access a full view of the mini aquatic world. When the request was sent to the company, the designers considered it as a challenge and were determined to fulfill the ‘unusual’ request.
Bespoke Aquarium With A Cubical Window Underneath To Allow A Cat To Have Full View Of What Goes Underwater
The custom-made aquarium features a cubical nook at the bottom that serves as a 360-view window that the cat can access underneath. The Cincinnati-based company also designed a comfortable area under the fish tank where Jasper could cozily position himself while fish-watching. On the short video shared on Instagram, you can see Jasper watching the swimming fishes in awe as he looks into the rectangular window while he sits comfortably. He can be seen pawing at the glass when a fish approaches his viewing deck.

One of the videos also shows Jasper’s sibling Willow waiting patiently for its turn while Jasper takes his sweet time enjoying the underwater view. Many cat owners were impressed by the fish tank’s design. Hours after the videos were shared on Instagram and TikTok, Aquatics & Exotics has received inquiries and orders for the same aquarium that Jasper has.
