For all you folks out there who fancy yourselves a real life Harry, Hermione or Ron, we've uncovered the most awesome invention for you. There's a new product called 'Maguss' that will let you have real wizarding duels with your friends or foe. Well, we use the term "real" loosely. This is still a toy for muggles, but it acts like the real thing. The Maguss package comes in three parts… a wand, a receiver and a smartphone app. The wand has a motion sensor and and IR LED. The user can cast different spells by moving the wand in very specific ways. If they perform the spell right, and the wizard they're battling against is in range, then they score points. The app keeps track of the score, so you know who's won when the duels's over. Pretty neat, huh? It's almost like magical laser quest! The only thing is that Maguss isn't yet on the market, it's currently in the funding stage on Kickstarter, so if you want one of the first batch of these wands, you'll need to donate a specified amount.
