One artist who goes by the name of 'Nemury' has created these awesome minimalist artworks using their iPhone. Each piece is a recreation of a classic artwork, or a pop culture character but in this simplistic style. The reason for Nemury choosing to create art in this way is that he works long hours and doesn't really get time to spend hours drawing or painting. But, instead of packing in his hobby completely, he decided to create these cute little works of art on the train as he commutes to work. After trying out several different apps and methods, 'Patchwork' is now his app of choice for creating these pieces. "Less is more," or so the saying goes, and in this case it's certainly true.
