Kids' drawings are often cute or funny, but these ones really take the cake. Sam is a 5-year-old boy who just loves to draw, but due to his mom's obsession with everything '80s, the subject matter for Sam's drawings is a bit less tangible than most. It all started when he decided to draw his own interpretation of "Hold Me Now" by The Thompson Twins. His mom, Lori, thought it was excellent and encouraged him to draw pictures from more '80s songs. The results were so brilliant that Lori started up a blog to showcase Sam's awesome pictures. Some of these are totally understandable, if fairly literal, interpretations of the songs, whereas others are sheer genius. This take on "Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top is probably the best thing ever.
"Rapper's Delight" by The Sugarhill Gang. Sure, it's the wrong kind of rapper, but isn't this so much better?
"Peek-a-Boo" by Siouxsie and the Banshees. You'd be that scared, too, if your cat started playing peek-a-boo with you.
"I Wanna Know What Love Is" by Foreigner.
"It's Raining Men" by The Weather Girls. Love that the lady in the drawing has an umbrella to protect herself from those pesky men precipitating from the sky.
This drawing of "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel is super creepy.
This interpretation of "It's Hip to be Square" by Huey Lewis and the News pretty much sums everything up. Now let's all stand by a square and say "Wooooo!"
Even the sun is shocked by George Michael's "Careless Whisper."
