    There is something so incredibly magical about the beautifully animated movies of 'Walt Disney'. No matter your age, you cannot fail to feel all warm and fuzzy inside when you watch them. They could melt even the heaviest of hearts. 'Frozen' is one of those movies which is already becoming an animated classic, everyone who sees it will be raving about it for months afterwards. If you're a Frozen fan, take a look at these 14 awesome things you might not have already known!

     

    The movie took three million hours (2.5 years) in total for 600 people to complete!

    The 'Academy Award Statue' the songwriting team won for 'Let It Go' wears this awesome little Elsa dress!

    The average human head has around 100,000 hairs however Elsa's hair was drawn with an incredible 420,000 strands of hair! As a comparison, Rapunzel's hair was animated with just 27,000 hairs.

    Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel both auditioned to be Rapunzel in 'Tangled' but neither got the role.

    Check out this disclaimer that Disney hid at the end of the movie. This is a direct reference to the part in the movie where Kristoff says that all men pick their nose and eat the boogers!

    'Let It Go' was written in just one day! The writers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez had a brief to create a song with attitude and that's just what they did!

    These are early drawings of Elsa as the villain which were inspired, in part, by Amy Winehouse!

    If you watch the movie very closely when Olaf sings 'In Summer' as there are other Olafs hidden in his ice cubes and within the clouds too!

    The names of the main characters are a tribute to the famous writer of fairytales, Hans Christian Andersen. Andersen was the author of 'The Snow Queen' which was the inspiration for Frozen. Try saying the four names in the order they're set out below and the tribute will become even more apparent!

    Walt Disney had the idea to make a movie based on The Snow Queen way back in the 1940s.

    Walt Disney Studios brought a real, live reindeer into the studio so their animators could draw Sven perfectly. As the team watched, the reindeer scratched its ear with its back leg, just like a dog, so they put their own version of the behavior in the movie!
