When you think about someone at the age of 104, you probably imagine them to be pretty frail and unable to do much. However, Scottish grandma to 6 and great-grandma to 14, Grace Brett is here to prove people wrong! She's the oldest member of 'Souter Stormers', a secretive group that recently yarn-bombed her hometown of Selkirk, Scotland for the 'YES Arts Festival'. If you're not aware of yarn-bombing, it is the act of decorating objects around an area with knitting or crochet. Grace has been an almost life-long knitter and crocheter, having always created blankets and shawls for all the babies in the family. Talking about this project, Grace said…
"I thought it was a really good idea to decorate the town and enjoyed having my crochet included. I liked seeing my work showing with everyone else and thought the town looked lovely."
