Ann Hodges is one of the most famous people to have been hit by a meteorite. It happened in 1954, when she was relaxing at home. A meteorite the size of a softball crashed through her roof, bounced off her radio, and struck her!
These tiny meteorites grazed the head of 7-year-old Steven Lippard, in Loxahatchee, Florida, 2013. He needed staples to close the wound but was otherwise unharmed!

Mbale in Nigeria had a similar thing happen in 1992. A larger, 238-pound meteor broke into roughly 400 fragments and showered the village. One boy was struck in the head by a piece, but thankfully it was slowed by a banana tree and did no serious damage!
