John Brown Creates Gorgeous Creatures From Scrap Metal

Scrap metal can be melted down, processed and turned into new items at a factory. However, some people recycle it in their own way, closer to home. Artist, John Brown is one such person. He creates awesome sculptures of insects, birds and more using various scrap metals. As well as sheet metal, he uses items such as old nails and pieces of bicycle chain, all welded together to make critters that still look delicate, despite their rustic parts. The final step is to paint each one using oil paint. Brown doesn't just randomly paint his creatures, either, each one is lovingly rendered to look like a particular species, such as a 'Red Admiral' or 'Holly Blue Butterfly'! Check out his awesome work!
