Artist turned jeweler Jessica Galbreth has spent years perfecting the process during which she takes ordinary sea shells and turns them into wonderful pieces of stunning, wearable art. Galbreth pigments each shell with opaque metallic hues, allowing for the natural texture of the shell to shine through. She then wire wraps them and mounts them to make gorgeous unique pieces. She first started using shells when she inherited buckets of them from her mother, who had collected them from the shores near her home in Coco Beach, Florida. Take a look!
