This little squirrel was found badly injured at the side of a road around a month ago by the wife of redditor 'carefree_dude'. The couple assumed the little guy was hit by a car as he was suffering from a serious head trauma. With the help of a wildlife rehabilitator, the couple managed to get little Mitten to drink via a syringe. The awesome family are currently building a large enclosure for the squirrel who may never be able to be released back into the wild. For the moment he seems to be perfectly happy residing in the family Christmas tree! Take a look!
