One day, back when he was in high school, to the dismay of his teacher, Scott Bisson tried bending a glass tube over a Bunsen burner. Many years of practice and professional training later, he's become an expert glass blower. Bisson loves to make hand-crafted glass blown creatures, many of these aquatic creatures or amphibians, whose natural forms match well with the flowing nature of his beautiful work. He is passionate about the twisting and molding of molten glass, stating on his website, "If I don't lose a piece a day from getting in over my head, then I am not pushing myself hard enough.
