The Owners Of This Old Unused Gas Station Decided To Turn It Into Something Awesome

This historic New Orleans gas station was built in 1918, but had sat unused for some years. Rather than tear the whole place down, its owners decided to turn it into something incredible. This old gas station is now an awesome open plan home, and what's more, it's available as a vacation rental! What's cool about this place is that although it has been transformed into a luxury residence, it still retains some of its original features and all of its charm. There are also some excellent decorative touches, such as a gas pump and a display of model cars, which remind you about the history of this gorgeous place. Let's take a look!

What a stunning place to stay. We love that it still has a slightly industrial feel to it, and you can imagine what it would have been like as a garage and gas station.
