The Wang family in central Chongging, China have created something totally awesome… a floating bed which is stored within the bedroom ceiling! Well maybe the word 'float' is not completely technically accurate. It seems to be suspended however just how this works is not known. By the looks of it the bed actually retracts into the ceiling through electrical means and due to it's gorgeous decorated underside, even when not in use the bed looks cool. The base even has light fixtures fitted so it serves yet another practical use. The Wang family say that their family's use of the bed has gone without a hitch and that they are thinking of manufacturing the design in the future.
