Cats have long been associated with the spirit life. Many cultures such as the Ancient Egyptians have revered them for their mystical powers since time began and it is this aspect of the animals which Serbian artist Endre Penovac has managed to capture in this series of paintings.
These other-worldly works of art were achieved by the artist heavily diluting his watercolors and ink so that they took on their own forms as they spread across the paper. We think his works are amazing; let us know what you think in the comments below.
