Berlin-based artist, Christian Mahler teamed up with 'Epicenter Projects' in 'Coachella Valley' to create the spectacular laser art you see below, it was beamed onto canyons in the 'San Andreas Fault' to create an awesome light show effect. Mahler called his series of art works 'Magnitude'. He told 'BoredPanda' he works representing 'a meeting point between art and seismology'. The patterns in each laser designs were created from digital line drawings, which are gestural markings suggestive of curve progressions seen within earth's tectonic deformations or the magnitude in the Richter Scale, he explained!
