Artist Keisuke Yamada’s Creates Incredible Banana Carvings That Will Blow You Away

The best works of art are often strange or subversive, and these pieces are certainly strange! Japanese artist Keisuke Yamada carves sculptures out of a highly unusual material, bananas. Yamada has been making these sculptures since 2010, but sadly these sculptures don't stick around for much longer than it takes to snap a few photos. To carve these sculptures, Yamada uses a spoon and a toothpick. In case you were curious, yes, he does eat these banana sculptures once they're finished. No use in good food going to waste! Let's take a look at Yamada's work.
