A little village in Taiwan's Tainan City has been attracting lots of attention in recent times due to the awesome colorful murals which adorn many of its buildings. Formerly a rundown and shabby area, Hujia Village has now become an incredibly popular tourist attraction where the prices of property are rising steadily and its all due to some paint!
It started when five sisters took a trip back to their grandmothers house in the village and decided to paint it out of a sense of gratitude for her kindness, the project has just spiraled! The Li sisters were in time joined by other villagers and since then even private companies have been donating materials to help beautify the village. If only all communities pulled together so well!
