Romanian photographer Andrei Mihai has taken a series of contemporary photos with a traditional slant. His photos of a graceful ballerina out dancing in the streets of Romania, while wearing traditional costume, are breathtakingly striking. Interestingly, many Romanians still wear their traditional dress on an everyday basis… a practice which has all but died out in many countries. Andrei wanted to convey a sense of Romanian tradition while bridging the gap between history and today's modern society. Take a look!
