We're no historians, but we'd hazard a guess that toys have existed, in some form or another, for longer than humans have. That said, it's only the last hundred or so years ago that things have really gone crazy, with many kids having way more toys than they know what to do with. The 'Baby Box Company' is in the business of containing these mountains of toys, so they know a thing or two about what's popular. The company decided to take a nostalgic look at some of the most popular toys of the last 100 or so years (from the 1920s onward), and created this awesome timeline. Here you can see some of the hottest toys by decade and understand how things have changed over the years.
