If you travel on a budget, you probably aren't new to hostel accommodation. However, Lucky Lake Hostel, located about 30 minutes from central Amsterdam, is a far cry from your average mixed dorm where you're expected to bunk down in a room with five sweaty strangers. No, at this unique and vibrant hostel, you can stay in your own private caravan (or share with a friend). Much more civilized, if you ask us. But, before you start picturing a run down trailer park, you should know that these are beautifully decorated and are bright and cheery inside and out! While you're staying at the hostel, you also get to have a communal breakfast in their awesome breakfast bus, plus there's sometimes entertainment, such as DJs, and a general party time feel. So, if you're heading to Amsterdam, this place is definitely worth a look!
