    Nowadays society is obsessed with creating the ultimate in everything. Things either need to be larger than life or mega-tiny. Here we look at 6 of the most amazing microscopic creations of recent years. Technology is moving so fast that new discoveries are being made every day and it's awesome. Take a look at the microscopic version of Rodin's 'The Thinker', the detail is incredible.

     

    This microscopic origami was created by Shoji Takeuchi and colleagues from the University of Tokyo. The team folded tissue cultures made from animal connective tissue cells and are hoping that this is the precursor to creating artificial blood cells and more.

    This microscopic bull sculpture was created in plastic by a team of engineers at Osaka University way back in 2001 and is the size of a red blood cell!

    The world's smallest Thinker was created with lasers in Korea in 2007 and is around twice the size of a red blood cell.
