A rhesus macaque monkey in Rode, India has been making headlines. This is because the gorgeous little creature adopted a stray puppy, which it thinks is its child! The monkey acts just like a parent around the puppy, even protecting it from aggressive stray dogs who tried to pick on it. When locals noticed the odd friendship they thought it was cute and left food out for the pair. Adorably, the monkey nudged the pup forward, standing back and letting the little dog eat first.
