Imagine trying something 720,000 times, until you got it just right! Well, that's exactly what photographer Alan McFadyen did. He wanted to capture the Kingfisher bird as it dove straight into water, but in the millisecond just prior to it breaking the surface. McFadyen spent 4,200 hours over 6 whole years trying to get his money shot. He said he would often take more than 600 photographs during a session, with none of them even coming close to what he wanted. Yet, finally, he managed to get the shot you see directly below. Isn't it awesome?! There is also some of his best 'failures' too! Take a look!
