Despite those who bury their head in the sand, it's no secret that we as people are far too wasteful. Rubbish, particularly plastic, pollutes our oceans and beaches, disrupting the lives of many sea creatures. Below you will see some fantastic sculptures made purely from beach waste. They are both glorious and shocking as these giant creations highlight a mere fraction of the problem we are causing. Oregon based organization Washed Ashore' deserves massive credit for their wonderful sculptures, with recognition also going to Xandi Kreuzeder for the 'Tiger Shark' and 'Roxy Mermaid'.
