It's common knowledge that battery hens have a really hard life. Nicola Congdon and her mother Ann, who live in Falmouth in Cornwall, England, own about 60 hens! All of their hens are ex-battery birds, accustomed to barely surviving in cramped cages. Because the women were worried about them getting cold, now that they're free to run around outside, they kind-heartedly went ahead and knitted the hens their very own tiny sweaters! Take a look!
