Carpets and rugs are, more often than not, functional and come in varieties of texture and color. Many of us buy them in tones, designs and fabrics specifically so they'll be easy to keep clean. It takes a brave person to carpet their entire house in white, which is exactly why it is so uncommon! However, this doesn't mean hard-to-clean carpets and rugs don't exist.
