These Sculptures That Are Made Entirely Of Beach Waste Will Get You Thinking

Every day, hordes of plastic waste ends up on the world's beaches. Items such as bottles or bags are often mistaken for food by hungry seals, fish, and other aquatic life. Unfortunately, they can die after ingesting plastic. Did you know that every year the world produces over 300 million pounds of plastic, less than ten percent of that is recycled! Volunteers from 'Washedashore', an organization based in Oregon, have collected more than 12 tons of plastic waste over four years and made more than 45 giant sculptures with it. The results are amazing, and a little disturbing, don't you think? Take a look!
