You need to see these gorgeous miniature dioramas by Toronto-based artist Talwst. Each tiny diorama is supposed to depict a different historic period and each one is crafted with painstaking attention to detail inside vintage jewelry cases. It all started when Talwst was in Paris and having a conversation with a street vendor. The vendor gave him an antique ring box and said he wanted to see how Talwst would turn it into art. The artist decided to make a diorama with it, depicting a figure coming out from the sea, and ever since them he's been hooked on creating art inside old ring boxes.
