'The Girl Who Didn't Know How To Be' is a book that everyone should take a look at. It is a picture book about what it is to be different and about the struggles autistic people have to deal with on a daily basis. As the book uses pictures to tell the story, it can be very easily understood by people who have no prior knowledge of the autistic spectrum. The illustrations make the reader think and feel how the autistic girl is dealing with difficulties and this really brings her story home in many ways. A must read!
