We all like to gush over people's old snaps, but photographer Irina Werning has taken it one step further. In her series Back to the Future, she has asked her subjects to recreate one of their old photos. Most of these are childhood photos, but some are of peoples teenage or young adult years. The project has been met with great acclaim, and looking at the images you can certainly see why. Although there's a certain awkwardness to the photos, they're overwhelmingly adorable and could melt the coldest of hearts. Let's take a look.
