We've all been guilty of taking an overly long shower. Sometimes the feeling of the hot water washing away your troubles is too hard to walk away from. But not many of us stop and think about the massive amounts of water we are wasting. Textile-based installation artist and educator Elisabeth Buecher has invented a clever way to conserve water… 'My Shower Is A Green Warrior'. Buecher's shower curtain inflates after 4 minutes of showering, invading the users space, therefore discouraging long water-wasting showers. Unfortunately this product isn't actually available for purchase and was a concept project only displayed at the 2009 Milan Furniture Fair, but these shower curtains could really make a difference if they do ever become available commercially. They look quite fun despite their purpose!
