There are many things in life that captivate, soothe and calm us for no apparent reason. One of these occurrences is these shade balls rolling out of a van into a reservoir in L.A. They are intended to protect the water supply by preventing evaporation. Not only this, but they also stop toxic chemicals that are caused by the sun from contaminating the water.
