People In Canada Have The ‘Coolest’ Hairdos While Relaxing In Hot Springs Due To The Cold Weather

 

As far as hair 'do's' go, these frozen ones are like something out of this world! Takhini Hot Springs, in north west Canada is home to a bizarre and fun tradition called the hair freezing contest. Punters at the hot pools, due to the extremely cold February weather, (about -30 C or -22 F) are able to create all manner of icicle-laden hair styles, wetting their hair and then styling it as it freezes. Luckily, despite the cold air, the water at the natural springs remains a balmy 36-42 C, (96-107 F) Check out this year's winners…
