Cats make awesome pets and in terms of companionship, they're amazing. Unlike dogs and many other domesticated animals, they are often very independent and totally happy doing their own thing. The personalities of cats really can't be completely generalized. They all have their own little quirks and habits however there are certain distinct 'types' of felines.
