Artist Enam Bosokah Draws Amazingly Realistic Portraits Using Only Ballpoint Pens

Enam Bosokah shows us that you don’t need expensive paints or fancy supplies to create exceptional art. The Ghanaian artist creates the most amazingly realistic portraits simply using a basic ballpoint pen. From a distance, you might even think his pieces were black and white photos. However, when you get up close you can spot creative usage of techniques such as cross-hatching and stippling.

Depending on size and detail, each of these gorgeous portraits takes Enam between three and eight days to finish. He says that he likes to be able to share the emotions and the full personality of his subjects, and we think he has succeeded! Let’s take a look at his work!
