With the cost of land rising, not to mention utility bills going through the roof, it's not hard to imagine a future where everyone lives in tiny, sustainable homes. If you want to be an early adopter on this trend, now's your chance. These adorable little living pods, known as 'Ecocapsules' are now available for pre-order. These homes, designed by Bratislava-based company 'Nice Architects' aren't exactly cheap at 79,000 euros a piece, but that's not especially pricey, either. Particularly if you consider that all your electric is generated using a combination of solar and wind power, so you'll be completely off-grid and will never get another gas or electricity bill again. Although there's only 8.2 square meters of space inside, it's well-utilized. You'll find a sofa that converts to a bed, a kitchen complete with a small stove, a bathroom with shower and compost toilet, storage space and desk space, all inside this little pod. If you're interested in owning an Ecocapsule, they are currently available for pre-order, but they probably won't be shipped until early 2017, so don't go ending your current lease right away!
