What use is a watering can with a spout pointing straight back into the can? Or a drinking straw that’s sealed at both ends? What about a dinner plate made out of fur?! All of these things are completely useless, so that’s why they don’t exist, right? Wrong! Designer Katerina Kamprani has created these ridiculous-sounding (and looking) items as part of her new collection, called ‘The Uncomfortable’. Why? The designer states on her website that it was her goal to re-design useful objects, making them uncomfortable but useable. Uncomfortable, we get. Usable? We’re not so sure.
