Red heads, or "gingers" as they are often referred to, can often get a hard time. For some reason, people often like to pick on them and ginger kids can get a tough run in playground politics. Photographer Gabriele Gurciute feels the need to stand up for gingers worldwide and that's exactly what she's done with her new photo series 'The Ginger Project'. She hopes her portraits help to change stereotypes and to show how beautiful gingers are. She also wants ginger people to be proud of their uniqueness. Go the ginge!
