Studio Ghibli Posters Reimagined As Traditional Japanese Wood-Cut Prints

Many of us know and love the movies of Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli, who've produced classics such as Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. Texan artist Bill Mudron is inspired by a range of Japanese art forms, from Ghibli's animation to ancient wood-cut prints. Mudron decided to combine these two and came up with a series of Studio Ghibli movie posters reworked in the traditional Japanese wood-cut style. The results are excellent! Let's take a look!
