Artist Jacqueline Rush Lee has been transforming old books into art for more than 17 years. Lee utilizes various methods to create these amazing sculptures. She has dyed and scrambled books so that they tell new stories. She has also high-fired books in the kiln and she has soaked and dried books before screwing them into a new shape. She doesn't see this as destroying books, but as giving them new life. Talking about her work, Lee says…

''Working with the nature of the books that I find, I’m interested in delving into the internal landscapes of books to create new narratives.''
