Husband Plants 400 Acres Of Sunflowers To Honor Late Wife And Sells Seeds To Aid Cancer Research

In honor of his beloved late wife Babbette, Don Jaquish made one of her dreams come true and planted 400 acres of beautiful sunflowers. Not only this but to raise much-needed funds for cancer research, Don a cash grain farmer, started up a company he named Babbette's Seeds of Hope. This too had been one of his wife's dreams. Throughout her local community of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Babbette was known as the 'Sunflower Lady' so it was only natural her husband memorialized her like this. Babbette was such a positive lady who truly believed that every day the world grows closer to a cure for this awful disease. Take a look.
