    It's nice and all, but anyone who is seriously into art knows that not all things from one brand are good for them. I use a bunch of different brands for different bits. I hate FC pencils, use only Staedtler, both colored and normal. But Faber has excellet paper, their charcoal is great as well. So getting a box like this is a terrible idea. Maybe it's good for a beginner who does have and overload of funds, but I never met an advanced artist who used things only from one brand. I guess the box is only for the show, but it's not a problem to get a box like this. Even getting it custom-made is cheaper than this.

    GBP/USD: 244,9900 GBP = 410,8499 USD
    USD/GBP: 838,9900 USD = 500,2906 GBP
    it's 400 dollar or a 200 pound difference.
    So if you live in the us it is overpriced..

    Still, generally you go big or go home if you're buying art supplies… and the USD has a different value than the pound, like yen has a different value than the USD. So it really isn't overpriced, but it is if you think about it that way. It only seems overpriced because the dollar's value isn't that of the pound.

    Seriously your paying for the name..And name only.. They are high quality pencils but you can find a comparable pencils a much lower price .. It is a pretty little box though..

" And the fact that it is also promoted as a "gift " – nothing to do with serious/professional artists buying their OWN art supplies !! I won't be buying this for my 8 year old grandson who is indeed an aspiring young artist !! It would appear from comments and the cost , that their advertising is seriously misdirected !!
